Ibn-e-Insha Poetry: Ibn-e-Insha (ابن انشاء) with original name as Sher Muhammad Khan(شیر محمد خان) was born in the sub-continent on June 15, 1927 and breathed his last on January 11, 1978. While in youth, he migrated to Pakistan and completed his education from University of Karachi. Insha was known as a realist poet that wrote on social issues. He published several volumes of Urdu poetry and travel books known in Urdu as سفرنامہ. If there cannot be another Allama Muhammad Iqbal, then there cannot be another Insha as well. A unique poet he was.
